Become an Apprentice

There’s more to being a floor coverer than just assembling pieces of a puzzle. Floor coverers are experts in creating layouts, determining the proper tools and materials for each job, and understanding how temperature and moisture will impact each specific installation.

As a floor coverer apprentice, here are some of the things you'll learn:

Measure, cut, and install a variety of flooring materials

Estimate time and material costs

Inspect and repair damaged floor surfaces

Design custom patterns and decorative installations
